Question about Minelab MI 80 Headphone charging

Okay, simple. I plug them in and the three red LED lights DON'T go on. I turn the headphones on and three LEDs flash. Is that the way to charge, with the headphones on? Or should the headphones be off and the red lights appear, not blinking, when I plug it in?

No first check to see if you have a good charger and cord. The red lights come on and stay on until its fully charged.

Minelab has had a few connection failures on their wireless headphones, mine included. Not the most heavy duty plug arrangement I've ever seen. I could get mine to work if I used my phone charger cable and push the plug lightly to one side. You may want to try that to help diagnose the problem. Keep in mind that the 3 red lights don't come on immediately when you plug the cord in. It takes a second or two for them to light up. Minelab replaced my headphones, no problem.
