I always see people on here saying that you should never have the same pick up and drop off banks. Why is that? Is it just to keep a good relationship with the pickup bank, or are there other reasons like getting repeat rolls, or both? Or something completely different?

For example, lets say you had a good friend that was the vault manager at a bank. And they told you they would have no problem giving you 1 box per week and taking the rolls right back the next day to send back to the fed. Would you dump at that bank or at another? What would be the downside to that?

Thanks for your help!

Y bank doesn't mind me using their coin counter and ordering boxes from them, as long as you have a good relationship I see no problem as I have not had a problem yet

Do it once & see what happens!
Of course if they said that- do it, but I seriously doubt they will unless ofc ourse the Bank Mgr is your spouse, or.... .

My experience and others will concur:

a, Whenever you place an order, make sure you go and pick it up; If you skip once, the bank will cut you off.
b. If you want to increase your oder, make sure the vault manager absolutely agrees. Otherwise, you may get once and then be cut off.

It's mostly that banks generally don't sell coins to non commercial entity's

they usually only sell boxes to business's and sometimes charge them a fee as well.

If you bought a box at a bank that your friend is not a manager at and brought it back the next day and said I'd like to do this again next week...... Well they'll most likely tell you to beat it. We are not here to support your hobby, you are costing us time and money. Bottom line.
