Question about Sunray Probe for E Trac.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new E Trac. I'm very interested in getting a Sunray Probe for it. My question is this: On the E Trac , does the machine need any modifications to be able to mount the probe and are they easy to mount?

Did you not by the probe on an upper shaft? It's the common (and smart) thing to do.

It's only the shaft that needs to be modified, but you should have bought in already on to keep your shaft as a back up. You can not bypass the probe with the cable, so if your probe has a problem, and you have no back up upper shaft, you're done for the day.
