I recently bought around 250 old topographical maps of Tennessee and Kentucky ( some duplicates) and I'm thinking about selling most of them on e-bay. I don't want to take pictures and list every one (I'm old and lazy). Does anybody have an idea how I could sell these without taking pictures of each and every one? ANY idea would be appreciated, thanks.

eBay will require some type of photo for selling. If you are doing individual listings, sounds like there is a lot of photo taking in your future. Anyway, knowing what kind of condition the maps are in is going to be a big issue when coming to selling older maps.

You could do some lots of the maps. Might cut down some of the photo taking.

If you took the time, and framed a few at a time, you could piece them out over a year or so and maximize your profit. Maps dont take up that much space.

Thanks for your ideas, I appreciate it. I might just do a few at a time.

Yea....Pictures Sells everything, unless its a New Item in a Box.... You could sell them in Lots...Might make it a little easier

Not only do pictures help sell the item, but if you want to protect yourself against any potential fraud, they are necessary.

I've been listing stuff Ebay for the last 3 days must have taken 100 photo's, sigh it's time consuming to say the least. However they really help sell the item and... Like others have said Ebay needs at least one photo required to even post. :dontknow: Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

All replies above sum it up perfectly. If you don't want to take a lot of detailed pics, then ebay simply isn't for you.
