I've grown sweet peppers and hot peppers for years and have never had a pepper grow this tall. My daughter paid a dollar for a cayenne pepper from Walmart back in April. The darn plant is now 65" tall and still growing and producing peppers. Do I have an oddball pepper plant? This is northern Pa.

Maybe you just have to stop mixing steroids with Miracle Grow :icon_scratch: :tongue3:

No I got a mixed bag of peppers(Jalopeneos, Green Bells and some Anaheims that reaching the 50 inch range and they are under my peach tree with partial light most of the day. The Plumber.

I've got several hot and sweet pepper plants this year that have grown over 60" tall and bearing heavily .
Others from the same planting are much shorter and doing well .

My wife has a potted pepper plant that lived through the winter and it's about 30" right now and still producing. But this is Arizona, and winter just isn't the same out here.
