Question for you guys over in Europe

Does anyone ever find unexpolded bombs frow WWII? I'm sure they are there, I have heard stories of farmers finding them while plowing fields. Just wondering.

I have found things that I thought might have been UXOs ,I have stopped digging? and put the dirt back before they are uncovered. Every few months they shut off a street or train station to remove a bomb from WW2. I have been thinking about going back and digging one up just to see what it really is but better safe then sorry.

Bombs/bullets/grenades and the local beach is full of mortar shells. Things get especially bad during /after the winter storms when the beaches strip. Its just a case of calling bomb disposal who come out and blow them up on the spot. One thing that does not cause much trouble is mines although most of the coast was mined in the war. Guess they made a fairly good job of clearing them at the end of the war.
I've never heard of anyone detecting getting hurt/killed yet.
