questions about detecting on washington coast

hey all, we want to take a trip to the washington coast to metal detect but it seems the the Kalaloch campground is part of the olympic national park. has anyone detects on in the area at all? any info would be great.

Can't even bring a metal detector into a national park..I doubt there'd be anything worthwhile in that cold water anyway.

Look for Washington State parks ... most allow detecting in designated areas. Just have to pay to get in ... or buy a one year pass.
