hey guys,

I love this section, as I used to trap myself when I was young. Where do the hunters find these fur trade artifacts? Do they look in creeks under the water? Along the banks? Special camps? The creeks and rivers change so much, how could you ever find anything?

Why do we rarely see traps here? There has to be lots of lost traps.

Boomer, I find my stuff in plowed fields that were indian camps & villages during the "Fur Trade" era. I've only found a couple of trap chains & jaw pieces....would think I would find some complete traps, but sure don't!

I was thinking if I go back to my old stomping grounds, I probably left enough traps behind to keep myself busy for a while. LOL
