Looks like the SLQ my digging buddy got a couple weeks ago. Ours looked like a dog got to it.

That is one of the older SLQ,but the first D one was 1917.

Thanks. They were only minted for around 13 years but far more common a find for me over a Barber quarter. Finding an SLQ in good condition, especially the earlier ones, is quite rare though but I got mine a few years ago
