Found crawling on my hillside Ft Ancient site. Not bad for and hour and a half. Nice little Bone Bead, the little Serrated Triangle has a needle tip. The Scraper to the left of the biggest Triangle I found from my truck driving right next to the edge of the field, that I can't hunt by the way. It was like a foot from the roads edge. I could see stuff in the field but didn't chance going in.

I know the feeling of seeing a field where I have no permission to look over. Painful.

You bet, still turning them out. Hard to block out that other field when you know what's in it.

Fort ancient is beautiful this time of year. Great life to be able to hunt that area.

This isn't Fort Ancient in Warren county Ohio. It's illegal to pick up anything there.

This is a small site I hunt in Scioto county Ohio. It is a Ft Ancient Culture site.

Lucky I didn't though. I hunted a spot where they bulldozed some fill dirt first and found some Pottery and just as I was heading down over the hill the owner of the field showed up. I've known this guy for a long time, like 30 years or more, and he won't let me and anyone else that I know of hunt there. You can literally see stuff 15 feet or so out in the field but I don't take the chance. He has it posted and he's the type to call the law. I just steer clear of it. Plenty to find over the hill and it belongs a very nice family who give me total access.

Nice finds. Maybe I’ve been on tnet too long because at first glance of your pictures I knew these came from your ft ancient hill site. Nice finds.

Looks like you had a successful outing. It is also good to see that it is still possible to find some bone artifacts.

ya can't beat a day like that. Very productive.
I started puttin' on my cheaters (walmart specials with 1.75 magnification) now the ground is closer and very small stuff is way clearer.
