Quick hunt in the new field

recondigger · Nov 13, 2013

I found a 1817 large cent and my buddy found a 1812 large cent. We found some other random stuff like some oil lamp end parts and a couple flat buttons. Not bad for less than an hour.

I know it sucks digging them that way but I'll take it I found the best one I have ever found this year and I don't think I'll ever top it.

Wow! I'm quite impressed, and envious. I'd dig this field with a pack of wild pigs chasing me!

Nice large cent! I found my very first earlier this week. I can't imagine what the size of my penny jar would be if those pennies were the same size today!
