Did a quick in hunt old schoolyard in the rain last night. This school yard has produced a lot of nice finds for me. At least 40 silvers FTY so far and last night I added six more with a nice surprise when I got home. I was hunting last night in the rain and late evening. After I found the first two silver dimes it was getting really dark and I was just throwing the finds in my bag, all I could tell was that some were silver. I knew I had six silver dimes, a bunch of wheaties and a lot of clad.
when I got home and went to clean the coins I was really surprised to see one dime was a well worned 1853 seated dime and one of the wheaties was a 1906 IHP.

Going back tonite as this seams to be a new hot spot.

All finds were with updated Quinnox 800

CRUSADER I'm still learning this machine. But the nox is a hot machine. To me in this area I hunt low would mean 15-18. and it would still go deep. I rarely go above 23. other wise it would be falseing on a lot of iron. Now if I lived in England like you I would be running it wide open looking for that deep Roman relic. Plus running it a little lower keeps the machine more stable. Cheers

Nice Hunt!!! Congrats!!!!

Some fantastic finds. I think you have it tuned perfectly for silver. Congrats

You're definitely doing something right! Grats on the nice haul, and the hot spot to go to.
