I had a bit of time today to hunt the job site a bit, and turned up some clad, a 1950 wheatie, and.... A fairly old looking sterling ID bracelet. I'm guessing old by the style of engraving. It has the initials J. B. R. and on the back, what I'm thinking might be a post WW1 era service number..... O - 1001223.... (It's my understanding that an early service number with a O prefix is for an officer) If anyone can confirm that it is or isn't what I'm thinking, I'd really appreciate it....

Camera battery died before I could get a pic of the back.... I'll try later when it's charged.

Awesome silver bracelet! Congrats! Certainly does look older. You maybe able to track down the history on it!

Great find, found this one last year from WW 1. As you can see he was a officer and there is a O in the serial number so I would say you are correct in your assumption.
