Picked up my first boxes of halves in a while this weekend (2 boxes, one Dunbar and one Loomis). Also found a few halves in teller trays. All told, I was skunked. Found a few NIFCs that I threw back, but I held onto a 1987 d that's in beautiful shape. Also found a big 1945 UK penny that I'll photograph later. It probably is worth less than the 50 cents I was shorted by getting it, but I like the look of it.
I found a SBA dollar in the reject tube that makes up for the half I was shorted. I cashed that in with my dumped halves. Also found a little bit of foreign. Mostly common stuff but the Singapore 50 cents is a first for me. It seems most of my CRHing these days is not about what I find in the rolls (which is very little), but more about what I find in and around coin machines when I dump coins. Makes me think about searching something that's easier to dump and is low-volume. Also used some "eBay bucks" today so it only cost me 21 cents to pick up a merc.
