Railroad, travel and other odds and ends

Caught an early yard sale and hit the mother lode of train stuff.Seems he was quite the hobbyist...I bought a few huge books and 4 small metal storage boxes.I
haven't gone through all of the photos yet but one box has a master list.Seems it contains Five hundred and eleven photos all from the New York Central railroad.I bought
a few old atlases and an old phone that I've never seen in my life.All of the train photos are dated between the late 1940s to early 1950s ...Enjoy a few photos.

Pretty sure it's bakelite and made by siemens.I tried to find some reference of it on the net......no luck at all
