OMG every single hunting spot I have is under water by 3 ft or more. We have had rain for 2 weeks and today is the first time in that period I woke up and the sun was shinning. How many others are under water on their spots? The worst thing is they say rain for the rest of the week to come.

No horse trails. The only rule on the field is I cant go if the soil is wet. It has to be dry. Have you got any rain where you are at?

Look at it this way.. Those creeks are going To swell up And erode alot of new material out.. and the soil in the fields will be laid way down revealing alot more material. you will probably have alot of wash outs to check out also.

Yeah I was thinking that in one of my spots. That is where I found my 2 black ones last yr. I have found quite a few artifacts in that area and now the water is way up they should uncover some maybe in the summer when its hot. So far I have found 4 points there and lots of scrapers and tools. Dang I wish summer would come, lol.

Rock we have been flooded all winter. We have spring coming and that is when we usually flood. We are in the rainiest water shed in the U.S at 51 inches a year. But they always say we are in a drought haha. Rain suit up and go.

Under 3 feet of snow in places and power came back Monday morn.

We have been in a drought for years in southwest Georgia but since Sunday night we have had 5.6 inches of rain with a lot more expected today and tomorrow.

one of my very best years for hunting. was when it rain all spring.
ever other day we had floods. about 10 years ago or so.
we had a major El Niño. i found ton of points.
maybe you need to find a few up hill places to hunt wile the water is up.
you should do good.
good luck rock

Yeah I hit a new spot this morning. Didnt find a thing and now it is raining again. If it would just let up for a week or so I could go to the field. I was told I have till the end of March and then the planting starts again. Then I will have to find a new spot till the fall.
