Rainy day...finally

Been a bit of a dry spell here n ks....hasn't rained in almost 2 weeks (oh, poor poor pitiful me, ik...). But the horrendous heat we've had n that time has made hunting near unbearable....finally got a break today from the 100s and it just started sprinkling as I went out.... Mother nature must be on my side cuz so far on this short expedition I've found a couple bucks in clad, mainly quarters, and a piece if a bracelet made of butterflies... Can't wait til the ground is soaked.

We have had a lot of rain lately here in Illinois. It has really helped me find deep targets. Being new to the hobby,I couldn't believe how clear the signals were in the moist soil. I've been kicking around the idea for MDing at night to avoid the heat,but I'm sure someone would be calling the police about some "strange activity" going on at the school grounds.

Lol yah, I was just at the school, left at dark cuz ppl think I have a gun or other stupid things...at thr house I'm working, my neighbors all know me n my hobby...I jynxed the rain tho....a whole ten min of sprinkles

We have rain coming in again today! I don't mind the rain (except for trying to keep up with the lawn mowing),but we are supposed to have storms coming in today with the rain. I don't like lightning! I bet the ATP would make a great lightning rod!
