What Rand Paul did was equivalent to the tantrum of a small child. He put his hands over his ears and yelled, "Nanny, Nanny, Nanny!" until he got what he wanted. This behavior should be condemned, not congratulated. If everybody in congress acted the same way then nothing would ever get accomplished (not that much is getting accomplished as it is.) He did accomplish two things:

1. Guaranteed his reelection due to support from the right wing.
2. Blew any chance of ever being President.

yep watch the jimmy stewart movie. I didn't like the way they could filibuster without actually doing it. Not sure if they changed the rules back, but I respect Rand Paul for doing it the right way.
