I have a few things going against me in that respect.

1. I live in Kentucky, nowhere near a beach.

2. My parents avoid vacations at all cost, because they are workaholics, and because of reason 3.

3. We are a low income family.

4. I'd MUCH rather be looking for Civil War stuff, or colonial stuff, not some pirate junk!

5. When I did go go the beach once, I hated it. I was scared to death of the endless expanse of water, fat women in bikinis and fat men in speedos, kids running around with shovels, sand, pelicans, it was horrible.
