You can get cheap bat houses online at Menards, but you may want to check first with your state,

Also Florida has some really good information on them as well but you would need to look them up cause I do not know them off hand.
Bats are good for pollination as well, and naturally you can have and bees without any issues.
But have you considered getting Guinea hens; our Junction ranch was bad with ticks until about 84, then father started releasing about 50 a year on the property in the areas we needed them in. That ranch is just over 28,000 acres, so not like you need that many, but free range about 4 of them and you should see results within a month.
Plus you can eat the eggs. LOL
