WD, I bet after all this days with only finding :censored: , the day will come you find something REAL good!

I have something like this in mind: :icon_thumright:

I’m kind of on a personal hunt here, not so much a treasure hunt. The ancestors of the people in the cemetery are coming and I have this great idea in my head of making a personal history museum of this farm. Plus, I want all this fence, posts, and nails out of my ground. They are very damaging to the tractor tires. I did find an 1854 dime last year though.

Have a great Monday.

You guys see this Indy-car crash yesterday.

Mr WD came home and told me about it. He said it was one of the worst wrecks in years and that the guy had to be care flighted. It looks horrific!

gold boy, I thought you were starting school today. What are you doing giving me likes? You better stay focused on school young man. :laughing7:

On these older Missouri cemetaries there are many infant graves, and one had four or five from the same parents apparently.
Just a century ago infant mortality rates were staggering.
I have never seen a ghost. I would like to but you have to realize if there are ghosts shouldn't the world be awash in them given the millions who have passed.

Hillbilly prince, you might want to check out gold boy's thread:

I already did! I love ghost stories. If you want to read some great ones check out M. R. James. I had a copy long ago of his stories and never forgot them. Going to buy another soon.
I've had some odd moments here and there. There are some places which give off an incredible feeling of melancholia and sorrow.
Many many years ago my Dad was lying in a bed in a shotgun house and he saw, outside the window at the foot of the bed,the face of an infant. He never forgot it for sure. He didn't believe in ghosts at all.

Ooh, wait a minute. How about one that gives me, umm, ah, I mean, the ladies something to look at?

Hillbilly Prince, you need an avatar.

How about one of these?

Good heavens! Do you think I am running around barefoot with a shotgun and a hound and guarding my still from revenoors? Lol
We actually have running water and electricity in Missouri now. And no more outhouses since at least 2015!

I forgot to say thanks for your help! To be honest those hillbilly avatars are very much like some of the citizens around here.
You haven't explained your avatar?
I will thoughtfully consider any of your suggestions if you want to help out. I do have a couple of shotguns, used to have coonhounds for hunting although only to listen to them trail. No still however.
I am also thinking of getting a English red tick puppy.
okay so who is that guy you like looking at?
