The first pic is a 98k press we put in in Alabama. The second is the top of a mill that we took apart and transported from one location to another for the same company. It was too tall to get into the second building so we where forced to dismantle it.

Here's a picture of Big John Canadian shooting the Lachine Rapids circa 1900 or so....oh yeah he's my wife's great great grandfather.

Folks,

The abandoned cat we've been feeding got moved to my computer room this morning...the overnight temps have been just slightly above freezing so we'll be keeping him in at least until tomorrow morning after breakfast.

He seems to be fitting in nicely....lol.

A Lapidary master

These are from my favorite display to see at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I believe they are on permanent display as I've marveled over them a few times over the years taking the kids to the museum. They are completely constructed of various colored semi precious stone, by an artist from the Ukraine named Vasily Konovalenko.
