Since scanner technology has been improved a lot, decided to get a few old color prints out. Small size prints 3 1/2 x 5 inches. Used maximum scan resolution with a couple 1990s New Mexico trip photos. Prints were all made from Kodachrome film which makes them higher quality than old color print film.
Here is one print, then cropped it down. Oldest Spanish gold mine in New Mexico is supposed to be in those hills.

Mid 1990s after getting my Garrett Ultra GTA 1000 from Kellyco in the mail. The user manual said I'd now be ready to hunt for treasure anywhere. New Mexico just had to be the right state to begin detecting.

Taos style ceremonial rods/staff made by local Indian artist. Labeled as walking sticks, doesn't tell you what the traditions associated. Talking sticks were not the same but could be similar. In the ceremonial friendship (council?) circle, talking stick was handed to a person so they could speak. That way nobody interrupted the person until finished saying what was on their mind.

Edit: Took a better look at sign (bottom). It was rather dark colored actually says "Shaman Staffs & Walking Sticks". Maybe call them whatever you want.
