I use to vacation camping in the west back then, that was the 2nd of my 5 vacations that included stops camping at Grand Canyon. I have at least 7 or 8 more vacations in the Nothern Rockies that didn't include stops at Grand Canyon. Longest vacation was 6 weeks camping in Rockies, shortest was 2 weeks, majority were 3 week trips. 5 trips included Yellowstone/Grand Tetons as part of vacations.

I rode my bicycle out to the Fort today and I saw this tree frog on a fence. I put a penny next to it . It was about half the size of a penny.
