Went to my colonial house site I've been hunting since winter, so far 39 Chinese cash coins, 1812 large cent, then on Sunday finally a silver! 1799 NG-M (Nueva Guatemala) 1/2 real. My second half real, maybe a rare one! The only information I was able to find on it was a chart that said there are 2 known and its rarity is F5, I'm not sure what that means. Does anyone know what its worth? Even if it's not valuable it's definitely one of my best! Also, can anyone ID the cash coins in the last row?

Welcome to Treasure Net !!
Sedwick's Third Edition reflects a value range of $40-$150 and states "Many are holed and most show much wear."
Can you post pics of the specific coins you want ID-ed?
Thanks,
Don.

Awesome silver! Congrats

Thanks for the info. So is it a rare date for a Guatemala 1/2 real?

Congrats on Spanish silver! Strange to see so many Chinese coins at a colonial house site in Connecticut.

Sedwick uses the word 'scarce'.
You may wish to check their archives of previous sales to see if any of those 1/2Rs were sold; and their condition and final auction price.
Thanks for the additional pics.
Don.........

Dan and I found a number of these at one of our 1600's sites, but have no explanation as to how they got there. But I believe they were lost during the 1800s.

those are pretty awesome

Congrats on the half real. I hope it turns out to be the really rare coin! As for the cash coins, Maybe 25¢ apiece on a good day.
