Rare find 100 years ago!

Recently inherited this cache. It was turned up by plowing with mule about 100 years ago. 2 nice polished celts and a pestle. The larger celt in nearly a foot long.

Very nice. Do you know what state they came from?

I’ve seen a couple of similar celt caches from Copena sites in Mississippi.

The smaller one looks like the bit is missing.

Found in upstate SC on the banks of the Tugaloo river. Now Lake Hartwell. The smaller one has been used as a pestle.
