I think it best I share with you the leading expert in these, he will be pleased to record it on the EMC at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
He will reply almost immediately even at weekends - 1000% better than the FLO.
Martin Allen - email - [email protected]
Sent pictures of both sides on white paper background (preferred)
State who found it
Where it was found, give as much as you like, nearest town will do
Weight (hopefully you have digital scales, if not they are cheap & worth investing in - accurate to 0.00g)
Diameter in mm
Ask any question you like.

Forgot 1 thing, the date you found it, if you remember (or go back & check your vids).

Over the years I have been totally impressed by the time and effort Martin has made in recording and the written descriptions of coinage. You really fortunate to have such a wealth of knowledge working in the system.

Agreed a true asset.
I was guttered when they cut the funding for the leading Celtic Coin Expert - Philip de Jersey.

This thread has gone quiet since the OP stated he would post the reverse:icon_scratch:

I'm starting to believe that this is a young person's game to report/hand in a treasure-because they'd be old by the time it makes it through the process now it seems.

I also wonder what happened to the request of the reverse pic?

What do you mean?
Its not Treasure & doesnt require reporting.
All I suggested was a photo & email, easy!

I didn't mean this find. I meant the reporting, and the time it takes for a find to wind through the process. That's all I ment, sorry for the misunderstanding.
