Rat rods..gotta love em!!

I'm at my normal morning haunt, and in pulls, something I really love, awesome 38 rat rod..wish I had shot a video of the guy pulling out of the lot..more smoke than a forest fire and probably 5 pounds of rubber left behind lol.

I like to see them, I don't mind smelling them, I hate to hear them !

the Older I get, The harder of Hearing I get,
But the more irritated I get by Engine noises & Tire Squealing

It really gets on my nerves when cycles fly by me & it sounds like they have no Muffler.

cars are almost as bad not sure why, as I said I am hard of hearing

I remember my uncle working on a U.S. Army surplus Jeep but he couldn't get a regulation gas tank for it. Not sure why but, that jerry can on the side of that Rat looks just like the new fuel tank he installed on the jeep.

Only held 5 gallons of fuel, but with that little 4 cylinder motor and one barrel carb he could ride all day.

Acquaintance of mine built this truck. Bed is from a 1996 (I think) GMC.

I remember building a RAT FINK truck model, when I was younger... y'all ever do that...? (@ 1958 or so...) & read MAD magazine, too; oh well... "what me worry...?"
