Raw Hematite?

I found some rocks the last time I went out and was wondering if they were Hematite? Now we do have iron ore here also but these look different. Also is it worth anything. Thanks, rock

Curious, what makes you think they are hematite? The small middle one, possibly. Others look like jasper. Do a streak test.

I have found Hematite out there before but not in the same spot. It kinda felt like the other piece I found. On the bottom of the big piece it is rough like metal texture. First piece of this type I have found.

I think your still on to the chert or something similar on at least two of the pieces.
A streak test will help.
