Re: Reading some posts saying the E-trac isn't as deep as the Explorer
Gentleman/Ladies...There is a MAJOR difference between the ET and the othe models in the Explorer series. The ET is not an Explorer in a different housing. If you really want to know the difference, rather than opinion, read Andy Sabisch's book on the Explorer and the ET or read about that very discussion on another forum. As a matter of fact, there are significant differences between the successive Explorers marketed, the most obvious being the color change. Things that aren't apparent like processor speed, operating software with totally new algorithms, and a host of other improvements have been made in each successive machine. I am not an employee of Mr. Sabisch nor do I get any royalties from his company, but if you really want to know the differences between the machines read some of his posts on the other forum and read his book. I can understand that you think the differences between the first Explorer and the last are not significant and that is a a correct judgement and opinion from your frame of reference. For those who seek information and the knowledge to arrive at some decision about the machines should really separate the opinion from the fact and that is probably best done by reviewing literature from recognized experts in the field. No offense meant, but some of the information posted in this subject area are just not true. Regards...Jim
