Yesterday the snow was almost gone. Green grass in the yard and just a short time until I could detect. Waking up to this makes me want to punch Mother Nature in the uterus.

I feel for ya, bud! I got 9 months of winter and 3 months of late fall here in the mountains. Honestly, I can't do any serious diggin til May. Hope you get started way more quicker!

We actually had a hailstorm this morning. Lasted about 10 minutes. That's here in California, wait 'til them clouds get to the mobile home parks in Texas and Oklahoma. You guys better tie stuff down good!

Yeah I'm from Oklahoma and tornadoes is what made them mobile homes 'mobile'!

YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH !!!!!!!! I'm at 8,500 ft ,hopein, maybe some diggin in april. You know what has been really eatin at me,,,, in November I found a lumber camp that dates to the 1880s,,got to hunt it twice before the ground froze,found a SLQ, a Wheatie,and some real nice relics,then forze ground !!! and almost 5 months later I have at LEAST one more month of waiting,,,,,,,, COME ON SPRING !!!

Last year I was able to get out for the first time in late March. This year should have been even earlier until this crapstorm happened.
