Been doing a few yard hunts in an old town . I had received permission to hunt an old teardown and then when started hunting, the owner informed me of another even older home they owned up the block... they also gave permission for that one. Then across the street was a property behind the church and again the owners gave permission.....each time people stop and talk so I am getting more leads.... :) !!!!!!

The pocket watch says coin silver on the back and is engraved with lots of scrolls and three birds....the silver baby spoon has no marks and the other long spoon says Gilchrist on the back.....The midget horseshoe is the smallest I have found...the little triangle tipped brass item next to the horseshoe says Hamilton on it ...The oval emblem says Missouri Bureau Federation...then Mutual Ins.Co and Bloomington Illinois

Gypsy, that's a great bunch of items, and the fine watch makes me wonder if the Hamilton thing wasn't part of a fob or other 'pocket watch accessory'.

2 months ago I dug one of those "mini-horseshoes" from a yard 50m from what was a buggy park / stable. Someone on dfxonly said it was a mule shoe (or maybe a donk--they got tiny feets, too).

Nice work, Gypsy!

Keep it up--there will be even greater finds for you. Sometimes those "leads" are the Real Treasure--to be recovered on down the road. :)

Great digs Gypsy! That second pic looks like a freeze plug out of an engine block. Hit that place some more.
