Hello fellow Bucaneers!

Hope the hunt is going well for all involved. I managed to get out twice this weekend so far, and had some nice finds. Still no gold, but, im sure its out there somewhere. Friday afternoon I managed to land a huge 28 inch silver necklace, a swiss watch(still tickin! woot!), and a 1980 Susan B Anthony coin. The coin was an unusual find for the surf for sure. This morning, finds wernt near as good. Just a crematory tag(creepy) and a childs toe ring. Total clad coin is one $1, 20 quarters, 18 dimes, 5 nickles, and 29 pennies for a total of $8.34. Gettin closer to retirement with every penny!

Nice silver chain. the one thing i love about this hobby is everytime you scoop something out of the water or land it could be anything from gold to silver to crematory tags!

Hey Nath Throw the crematory tag back into the sea . There called floaters and could bring you bad luck. I got one a while back and I always give it the blessing and I give it back to the sea, so its with the deceased.. I'm cajun and surperstition runs in my blood .. you got a good bunch of finds there Guzz

This morning I was talking to some other hunters, and showed them the tag. One of them told me about a local fella, i think Max, who found a similar tag, and threw it back. Some time later, he found it again, tossed it, found it, etc. The 5th time he found it, he kept it, figured it wanted to be with him. Cant confirm, but still kinda funny.

you know, its funny. I post a pic of a $30 chain and a $200 dollar watch, and not a single person mentions the watch at all. Tis very strange indeed, but amusing all the same
