have been field huntn a couple times and digging once since my last post.didnt have camera available to take good pics of everything i found but heres some mostly insitu pics.the pile of flint is from dig site,i havent gone thru all of it to see what i got,mostly just a pile of flint from a few hours of digging.the first 3 pics is of a piece i found earlier this week,it has a reworked base and is made out of ridge,will get a better pic up asap,pretty sweet material.the last pic is of a hammerstone or grinder,it is shaped like a hockey puck.enjoy.

I think it's a hammerstone or a preform disc. My brother found one out of quartzite that looks like yours. Maybe that's how some discoidals start out.
