how can you define professional or amateur?

Can anyone lead me to who made this? Unfortunately a little peace of one edge has been damaged.

Is this made by a professional or amateur?

Thanks!
Hi. Google shows numerous of that type of shape and pattern. One name is Sea Glass and the other Mezuzah. Prices seem to range from 50 bucks Aud to a couple of hundred. It's not junk but is far from a rarity going by searches.

Yes there are similar ones but I try to find the actual maker.
