I hear redfish are some of the best tasting fish around.

Never heard of them/ fresh or salt water?

Salt water. They were biting good today, so says my husband. Gave all to his fishing buddy's son.

I always love watching people on t.v. fish for these they are so fast and put up a heck of a fight so it seems

How do you cook them RR? Are they similar to snapper?

No doubt about it son. Them dang "reds" are helacious fighters. Great inshore action.

Hey Steve 71...what part of the coast are you tearing them up at? Well, done.

I don't get to eat snapper that much. Have to go way out off shore to the platforms for them I like catching both the rat reds & bull reds...like eating both too. My favorite way is broiled with Cajun seasonings. Red fish on the half shell on the grill is even better.

That sounds delicious River Rat.

Guessing maybe these babies came out of the land cut at Baffin. Maybe just off the flats on the intercoastal...

Somehow I knew that when you did post again it would be pics of fish I can't catch, Steve 71! Good catch and like the pic.

Did you catch them on live bait?,what part of the Texas coast did you catch 'em on?
