Those are nice as always. We don't find anything like what you find in Georgia.

Thanks Americus...guess it's mostly because you've got "water" & we're dusty & dry for the most part. lol

Nice pieces- and that's a good point- about water. Must remember. So easy to forget time-frames while finding artifacts that cross thousands of years... Yak

Great finds Kat if I could send you some rain I would, we have had over 7in's alone this last week, I just need to figure how to box up rain showers.:laughing7:

yakker....yes, we should remember that...& thank you.:)

monsterrack....Wow... 7 inches...nice & thanks for the offer:thumbsup:...maybe some BIG plastic baggies? lol

Still not getting any rain with that storm close by in the ocean?

...storm...what storm? Guess I need to turn on the weather & check things out, thanks rock.:icon_thumleft: It's almost 100 here and not a drop to be found...darn...:(

No lie it has rained 3 days in a row here. We got almost 4 inches of rain just last week. It didnt rain today (Saturday) but it did rain every other day this week so far.

...gee rock...is that usual for you all down South? I guess I shouldn't complain about no rain, after all...this is the "Southwest" & known for being dry. The monsoon season will be here soon, along with all the lightening...goodie & :O So, enjoy your rain and find & post some more great stuff. :)

Cool Finds! I wonder if the red colored ones are harder to find.

Hi old digger....for us the red sherds aren't as numerous as the black & white...but the "prettiest" (animal/people) ones have so far been in B&W, not the red, although the red are pretty because they're "red". They seem more primitive looking, not as refined in a way, older?

Those are pretty! I found one here this week for the first time and thought of you and even compared the ones you sent me to it. Attached is a pic to let you see. This one is a little more curved than the other ones I've found but let me know what you think of it.

Wow Peaches...yes, you sure did find some red ones! Pretty! And nice shot with the purple background, very artsy. :icon_thumleft: Where you found those there's bound to be more, maybe you'll find enough to make a bowl even!?

We need a gully washing rain (in my case a creek stirring up type rain)! All I'm finding are dangits and occasional shards and misc and afraid to go to far up or downstream due to snakes, my son has been a bit busy to hang out with me in the creek and he's my protector lol I've been getting new visitors though, a really cute pair of white and tan bird dogs and they are so sweet! I do hope the owner knows what they're doing and gets a handle on their roamings because it's pretty dangerous out there for those guys but for now they are having a blast!

We need a good "washing" to...all over the whole state, at least the SW part...so dry. Yes, be careful of the slimy/slippery critters there Peaches. Got a pic of your new doggy "friends", they sound cute.

They always surprise me so I haven't got a pic of them yet but I'll bring my phone just in case. They are so sweet! lol

Washing? Dang we got another inch of rain yesterday and more is still coming. From what I have figured in my area every inch equals a foot of water in the creek I hunt. I doubt if any gravel bars are showing rite now.

Peaches....OK :)

rock... sounds like that means some great hunts for you soon!

Not if it keeps going like this. We got 3 rain storms yesterday all hard rain. The creek I hunt is probably 50 miles long so it depends on how much rain fell upstream as to how deep the creek gets by the time it gets to me there is allot of water. I will check today and see how deep it is.
