Been finding quite a bit of this, thought it might be old drain tile but a lot of different size, thickness, and some angled. I found a piece yesterday in kind of a T shape, in a active farm field, where there is a bit of flint pieces. Will add when I clean it up. Any Ideas? Hard to tell from pics but looks a lot like some of the pottery pieces i have found but I found them on the shore of a river and the water really wore them down. What state are you in?

Just rocks or a broken brick from the old days. I find broken bricks from old homes sometimes in the fields.

Like the others have said, that's brick !!!!!!!!

In Ohio, found in a area of excessive runoff from rain, good possibility it came from another field near by.

Ok it’s Brick!!!!! Funny how some pieces are thin and some are thick, thanks for the info, it really is appreciated!

I'd go with drainage tile before brick...lol. The shapes and varying thickness says it's something other than both. Is it brittle? Have any "filler" material sand, mica, gravel? If it is in fact brick, it may be very old brick...time to get the detector out.
