Nice photo capture! I've noticed through the generations of hawks that they are not as scared of us humans as they used to be, eh. We have quite a few around our house, in the country. See em on a daily basis. The owls too are not as skittish, my daughter walked up to one and got several pics.

Funny thing is that red tailed hawks are actually not hawks at all, but rather they are buzzards. and what people like to call buzzards are actually vultures and a member of the condor family. Early settlers just messed this up and it stuck.
