Relics & A 1857 Seated Half Dime

Hit a new site today in hopes of finding and old home site and hit the Half Dime on my 3rd hole. It sounds really odd but clear as a bell due to its altered shape. Either way I’m glad to have it. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a chance of flattening it since it appears to be slightly cracked down the fold.

Congrats on the great finds !

Maybe take the Half Dime to a local Jeweler or Coin Shop and see if it can be repaired ?
Is it possible to use heat ?

It’s possible and I’ve thought of this too. Just not sure if it’s something I’ll do just yet or not.
