Relics from an 1875 house & a few videos

After work today I hit an 1875 house in town. I tried to find some relics under the house too, but only found one. Here's the videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-eCYdepof8

I then detected in the back yard and recovered a few things, but nothing too spectacular.
My finds were:

*An aluminum Union Pacific lucky token dated 1934.

*AAA good driver key ring FOB or token. No idea on the age. :icon_scratch:

*A LARGE flat button

*A "sterling" earring.

*A gold (plated) hair clip

*Large deco looking buckle of some sort. :icon_scratch:

*Suspender clip

*Pottery shards, a marble, and other asst'd metal crappe'.

Have a great weekend,
MM

Thanks MM for the camera info  Do you carry the camera or wear it?

God bless
Peter

No problem Peter. I just carry the camera. That screen flips out so you can see yourself if you are filming yourself.

How's that Hoosier detecting doing for you? Since you are in Seymour, you may find some old John Cougar relics. ;D :tongue3:

Re: Relics from an 1875 house & a few videos

Hey MM ... nice finds and great videos ... what a shame about under the porch ( I would've thought that would have been good for several nice old coins ) ... good job and good luck on your next hunt ~ Jimmy

Jim,
I was hoping so too, but there was soooooo much crappe' under there sitting around like wood, fiberglass, sheetmetal from duct work, old iron pipes, bricks, and water.
I was able to tell the owner that one of her copper pipes was leaking, so I guess that counts as a find too. ;D

Love the gold brooch..... what camera are you using to take these video's? it seems like it is attached to a helmet or something?

God bless
Peter

Thanks Peter.
The video camera I use is an RCA "Small Wonders" (EZ201) model. Very compact & easy to use. I think I paid about $100 for it at HH Gregg.
You can shoot a vid on it up to about 4 minutes.

Great finds MM,
The videos are great.

I have a EZ201,and it fits in your shirt pocket.
You can shoot short clips about 3-4 minutes each and in the HQ mode it will hold about a total of 30 minutes of video. You can get a 2GB SD card and transfer the video from the camera onto the card in the camera and shoot a couple of hours of video with the 2GB SD card.
I think you can get one for less than 60 bucks, now that they have some newer models of the Small Wonder out.

Dime,
You are the one that told me about this great little vid camera last year. I thank you for that buddy. It's been a fun little camera.

I already gave all the relics I found to the property owner, but that button was about 1 1/2". By far the largest one I have ever dug.
