A week or two ago a member posted a pic of a gold snake. I can’t find the original thread. I ran across this pic and it has gold snakes that look similar to the one posted before. Maybe his snake was a part of display stand like this?

I remember the snake, but wasn't it flexible? The gold snake supports on this look ridged

I wonder how the snakes holding the gem were made rigid? If it was with some sort of resin or other organic material inside them, perhaps the one you found in the ground had the rigidizing material degraded out, making the snake flexible.

I have that problem of the rigidizing material is gone in my snake too. :tongue3::tongue3::tongue3::laughing7:
