Well, Im running out of time to do my roll hunting, so I had to step it up! Now I will be ordering $1500 dollars a week and unloading them at the bank twice a week. I dont want to drop 1500 on em all at once. I figure 750 at a time is more than enough.
A little background: Apparently, I may have maxed out my source for halves. The armored car company that services my bank has begun delivering me halves in bags of $500, instead of the $500 boxes. On Wednesday I picked up my bags, and was surprised to find a box with it. The results between my box and the bags was quite different. The box, which I did first, yielded me great results, and if I had had the same luck on the bags I would have been amazed. Anyways, the results from the box were 5x1964; 1x1965;1x1966; 8x1967; 4x1968D; 6x1969D; 1x1983S; 1x2002D. That was my first circulated proof.
The next bag was the worst, as I only came away with 1x1967; 1x1968D; 1x1969D. The last bag was more on par with what I am used to getting, not a ton, not none. 1x1964; 1x1965; 1x1966; 3x1967; 1x1969D. Also, somewhere in all those halves I found 2x1974D double dies. Im not up to 5 of them bad boys.
Now...its suddenly Friday and I have no halves to search...fortunately, I got out of work at 1545! You guys know what that means...on fridays the bank lobbies stay open until 1700! So, I hit all the banks I could in the hour I had before they closed. Picked up $$294 in loose halves and $50 in rolls. The joke was on me for the rolled halves...they were at a bank where I had dropped off a few hundred dollars worth a few months ago. The loose halves proved very fruitful, yielding:
