and a few recent Canadian nickel throwbacks (mid 1980's through 2000)

I had planned on searching a little more, but my wife had to work less than she had planned and a couple of nights I ended up drinking too much to feel safe driving downtown from the strip so I took those nights off. All in all a good trip.

Oh, and 1 of the 1942-D nickels is easily EF and possibly even AU. Probably the nicest one of that date I have found yet and it comes out of a slot machine in Vegas, go figure... :D

Strange EH.

I had my aunts BF scope out the casino situation near me (1 hour away) on one of their bi-weekly trips (small mining town legalize gambling to stay on the map here). He came back with they have half dollar machines and you buy them by the roll. One of these days I will make it up there, but I am leary of strange surroundings. 'Sides it would be on the weekend when I could go and that is when all the suckers go- been there to sight see and you can't hardly drive through town, looks like a harvest festival every weekend. Still need to test the waters up there sometime when I'm Jonsen like now for halves to search. May be a good thing. HH all, Mark
