Return Tray at Credit Union

I have been reading lots of posts of coin star tray finds but never really searched them... Saturday i was doing a half dollar dump at my credit unions change machine... while waiting for the teller to empty a bag I checked the return tray and found a 1943 Steel !!!

Guess I'm sold on checking, I know I use to check payphones for money (when there were payphones)

On Saturday I found a presidential dollar in the reject tray. Funny thing is it was not in there when I started dumping

Thorne I have had that happen at one of my machines too...

Ill dump halves, and a euro coin will pop out, or one of those religious gold angel coins... I know for sure I didnt dump those mysel.

At that point I shove my arm inside the reject tray

Also, sometimes the coin bags can block the reject area, causing a back-up of coins (depending on the machine). Always ask them to uncover the bag. It is the CRH equivalent to a gold miner's "glory hole." All sorts of goodies end up stuck.
