Well, I went back to the colonial site where I found the cut silver reale last hunt and this time I didn't think I can top that but,. I pop out my oldest coin with a full date and a revolutionary button..



37th revolutionary war British button.. Its hard to see the 3, I did a highlight and you can see it,. and here is a image of the closes photo I can find online..

1749 King George II farthing, When I first dug it up, I wasn't sure what I had, I thought it was a KGII half penny. And its my oldest coin with full date.

Nice finds again but that Pistareen is probably 1720s
 

That's a good find. The vast majority of 37th enlisted soldier buttons that turn up are the other pattern which continued through 1812.

The coin-relic combination always makes for a good feeling going home. I see it's not your first Rev War button seeing the NC. It looks very familiar so I must have seen it at the time and my memory is letting me down. Not a surprise! :)

Yeah I found the NC button around this time about 3 years ago, my only banner find..
