Found these at a new field permission this morning. I was just wandering around like I do the first couple times in a new field. The button fragment with USA is continental army rev war era I believe. The button with 64 ,I have no idea. Could use help on the copper if there is enough left to ID. Looking forward to getting back out there. Good luck to all. Art

Congrats on the large copper & button!

I'm no help, sorry

Whoa dude are you kidding me!!!! I believe that's a French button but I'm far from an expert. Damn that's a killer hunt buddy.

Wow! Super nice rev war find! I bet that 64 button is something good too! Big congrats

trapper trapper, some killer stuff man. Can't help you out either but damn nice man! Congratulations!!

Correct, looks like a French 64th! Way to go!! The turret style shank is indicative of French military buttons of that era. Great condition as well!! You're on a hot site for sure. Two Rev war buttons. WTG.

Awesome button finds and a copper as well. Can't ask for anything better than that. The Continental USA buttons certainly don't turn up every day. Congrats!

Looking good!

Your 64th button is from a French Artillery regiment, enlisted man pattern. It is FA64c in Don Troiani's book. I think you must be on or near a campsite on the march south to Yorktown.

Awesome relics buddy :occasion14::occasion14::occasion14:

Hi; If that USA button was whole it would be worth about $1800. As is I don't know. Sad. Congrats on the French Button. On the coin. I believe it is a 1790's Large Cent. You can barely make out the LIBERTY Cap on the left side ok. Again, I'm not sure of it's value, if any, in that condition ok. PEACE:RONB

Oh my goodness - if you're finding french and continental buttons I'd say you're definetly on a hotspot- wow!!!

I agree, and I've NEVER seen a French and USA button popping out on the same day. KILLER hunt. WOW WOW WOW!!!

I don't think the copper is a large cent I think I can see brittanica on the back and not a wreath

The copper is a KGIII. I voted BANNER for the double button day. :D

64 is standard issue French 64th Regiment, that one's kind of hard to find. The USA is the general service button used by the Continental Army. Nice finds.

Incredible 1-2 rev ally buttons. Sure the USA button would be nicer with the crust, but the pie is still great and more than most of us will ever get!

I can't even imagine what else awaits you at that site. Good luck and keep us posted!

Fantastic hunt with two killer buttons! Well done man. Looking forward to what else turns up there... Sounds like a Incredible site.

Nice! That's so cool! :treasurechest::thumbsup:
