I Know how they feel !
as a Kid I Used to look forward to Dump Hunting Day with Mom & Dad.
We used to Hop in the truck at least once a week & Go Explore.
Only Down Side, When I Think about it, I Can still Smell the rotten/cracked Eggs .
There was a Egg Processing Plant in the Valley "Essheys" business Nick Name for Eshleman's
& They used to always Send a Load of Rotten Eggs to the Dump.
But it was worth Putting up with it.
I always found a Few Treasures :coffee2:

Now it's illegal to do anything at the dump But Dump :(
& They imminently cover it over when the Truck comes.

the One Dump here used to have a Restaurant on Site.
Always made me Wonder when I thought back to the
eggs & Piles of Greens :tongue3:

Also allot of the Garbage came from New York & Occasionally
there was a a Body as a Crackerjack Prize.
I wonder how many never get reported

I always have loved dump digging. My parents were stationed in Germany and you wouldn't believe amazing things they found. I can almost remember but I was very small. I inherited the bug and used to love digging with my boys at an old dump close to here, and then one day a no trespassing sign showed up. We have lots of good memories! It's always a good time dump digging!!!

I loved going with my father-in-law to his "warehouse", his term for the town dump, on Saturdays to see what we could find.
We found furniture, bikes for the kids, replacement "BigWheel" parts, a working copy machine and even
one of those nonfreezing drop lights with a working bulb! All kinds of goodies.
