Rick Showed Me How it's Done...But I still Got Some Keepers

Got out for a 6 hour hunt with Rick today. Decent site but could not really nail down the site. Rick showed me how it's done and got the "finds of the hunt" but I was pretty happy with my finds as well! The shovel is another 17th century French dyking shovel but it's it pretty hard condition. Also got a musket trigger guard which was my find of the hunt. The brooch should clean up nicely...there's an etched design in the middle and there are green stones/glass still intact and some gold plating. I think the stones are fly's wings.

I know you like your gun parts, but I like the broach (sp), and the squiggley thing.
Didn't realize there were stones, a cleaned up pic. would be nice to see.
I just finished up with the mini grinder, posting in a minute.

I didn't realize there were stones either...they are green like the patina.

Cool stuff!

The vintage jewellery is nice, some precious metals next time would be nicer!

Since you guys didn't get on top of the site there still might be a chance at some more great finds

Some great finds there Romeo, I think the squiggley thing that Rick likes is a guide or hook for horse reins ( i think). Also I like the musket trigger guard.
Well done Romeo.
