Recently bought a riker box for buttons (rather than them rolling around in a shoebox). Never used one before, and while I think this is going to be a stupid question, thought I’d ask before I screwed something up. I assume you simply put the button on top of foam then replace the cap. Any risk in putting pressure on buttton with cap? Any need to “trim” the foam to reduce pressure? Have some buttons that are less than 100% (being kind) and while they aren’t worth much I’d hate to hurt them worse than 160 years in the ground has already done. Thank you in advance.

That looks like a nice frame with the individual holders. I don’t think there is enough pressure to hurt your buttons. Fill up that frame!
